Tuesday I made a trip up to Foster Reservoir to see whether Lewis Creek Park
Might be a good migrant trap. I saw a Gray Flycatcher there four years ago,
but found nothing better than a Cassin's Vireo this year. At least, since I
biked, I burned only time and calories.

At home, beside the river yesterday afternoon, I found these first-of-year
birds in less than an hour:

Olive-sided Flycatcher
Swainson's Thrush (more than one)
Pacific-slope Flycatcher
Cedar Waxwing (yard bird 100 this year)
Western Wood-Peewee
Western Tanager
Yellow Warbler

But still no Gray Flycatcher
