Dear Greg -
Thanks for the sounds, but it isn't an oriole. I heard the danged bird
again this morning and am going to try and use my binocs! Very
frustrating. All the whistles are exactly the same tone. If I can
manage to hold the glasses with one hand, maybe I can get a look.
Lots of black-headed grosbeaks and purple finches singing, as well as
goldfinches. Nice to have comparisons, but this is different from any
of those. Also have ahouse wren singing - new yard bird!
