[obol] Yard List, SE Portland

Dear OBOL, 
   
  We live on a 45 x 100 square foot lot in SE Portland. There is a large western redcedar on our back property line, and a worthless (habitat-wise) Monkey Tree out front. We have some native shrubs and plants in addition to some ornamentals but our small yard is not densely vegetated by any means. We have a yard list of 80 species, using Marilyn and Craig Miller’s criteria
counting all birds that we can identify from our yard. Of those, 23 were flyovers directly above our property and one species (80 Sandhill Cranes) was seen flying in the distance.
