I noticed, in the trees in my yard, a Mountain Chickadee among a
loose flock of Black-Capped Chickadees, Oregon Juncos, Ruby & Golden
- Crowned Kinglets and Red -Breasted Nuthatches. Looking up from
the tree, Christie noticed 2 Golden Eagles (adult) circling above a
ridge in the background (at the same location where we observed 2 G.
eagles on Oct 24). The eagles soared for several minutes and the
last I saw, one was flying, at high speed and altitude, across the
valley. (Takilma area, Illinois Valley, Josephine Co.).
I'm wondering if it's the same 2 eagles as about 9 days ago? Are
they a mated pair? Are they migrants from far away or a pair from
more local mountains? No telling.

Go Ducks!!!
