Hi Wink,

Your at least one foot inside method suggest a bird species might get the 
"boot" to be inside, Ha!

We have been at our place east of the Merlin I-5 exit (Josephine Co) about 
15 years and although I have kept track of what was seen (flyovers, etc) and 
don't have an accurate sum.  I suspect somewhere near 110 or so.  the most 
unexpected was a Rose-breasted Grosbeak that I recall.
