[obol] Bend Yard List

I've been enjoying this thread also. We're usually not much for
keeping lists, but I've always kind of made a mental note whenever
something new showed up in the yard. So I just went to birdnotes.net
and entered our yard list.

The final tally came to 109 and it can be seen at:

We count anything seen or heard from the property since moving here
in 1997. There are a few species I think I can recall but am not
100% sure about, so they were left off the list. We live on a 1/3rd
acre lot about a block from the Deschutes River, so there is good
potential for adding species. For example, I haven't really bothered
trying to ID all the different ducks that fly over the river corridor
nor have I spent much time looking skyward for raptors, etc. With a
little effort and a few more years, I think 120 or more could be
possible. We're fortunate that the river makes a bend around our
neighborhood, so many times ducks and other river-following migrants
will fly right over the house. You can see a map of our location at:

Cool birds: 6 species of hummingbirds (including Broad-tailed
Hummingbird, which does not appear on the Birdnotes.net list), Common
Redpoll, all 4 zonotrichia sparrows.
