Hi obol

A friend and I will be birding the Oregon coast from Brookings to Coos Bay for several days beginning about November 15. We will be looking primarily for shorebirds and other birds not commonly found in Arizona. Birds of interest are listed below. An * indicates a life bird for one or both of us. Some species are probably so common that they will be hard to miss, some may be migrants that are no longer present, and some are common in Arizona. We would appreciate any information regarding locations where we might see any of these birds. I am watching the obol listserv closely and have found some good information on the Coos Bay area.

We have the Falcon guide, Birding Oregon, by John Rakestraw. This book provides birding locations in the areas of Brookings, Cape Blanco/Port Orford, Bandon, and Coos Bay.
