Hello Oboloids,
Was going to report this yesterday but got side-tracked.  At between 330pm and 430pm the sky over our location here in outer Dallas was filled with crows.  My estimate is that roughly 4500-5000 crows flew over in groups from 3 to 100 strong, wave after wave after wave of them.  The last group was a trio, flying for all they were worth way behind the rest. All were flying in a WSW direction heading into the hills.  If any one in Polk county is missing their favourite crow family, you now know which direction they went.  Don't know where they go but that roost must be a magnificent sight.  Reminded me of the huge rook colonies I used to see in Europe.
