Accipiters are very adaptable.  At our Tucson home the
local Cooper's Hawks deliberately drive birds into our
windows.  They just swoopp throgh at high speed,
deliberately panicking the birds hopinw one smashes
into teh window.  We have all the hawk sticker etc. up
but does no good.  

We call it the the hawk breakfast bar.
