[obol] birding Kauai

Of course, we all have different "best" birds, and I don't deny that a 
goose could be a "best" for some.  :-)  I also have enjoyed them at 
Kilauea lighthouse.  However, for me the Kauai birds that topped my 
list have names like "Amakihi," "Apapane," "I'iwi," etc.  Those birds 
(and other endemics) also happen to be at the "top" of Kauai in Koke'e 
State Park, very near the rainiest spot on the planet, and a "must 
visit" place for any serious birder visiting that island.
