Mike Patterson reports an imm. YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER on Royal Avenue on
the e. side of Fern Ridg Res (12 miles west of Eugene) just east of the
parking area by the gate, in a grove of apple trees by a red barn.  The
description of a brownish juv bird with yellow belly and no nape color
sounds good.
