Hi,
On Nov. 26, Karen Anderson reported a TUNDRA SWAN that a friend had
seen and photographed at Seal Rock Stable's wet pasture on an
unspecified date to Laimons Osis, who relayed on the report. The photo
also shows Canada Geese.
To get to Seal Rock Stables, turn onto Beaver Creek Road at Ona Beach
State Park, turn right at the first right onto South Beaver Creek
Road, and drive to about about Milepost 1.6. The wet pasture is on
the right (west side) of the narrow road. Laimons adds that the owner
"is quite tolerant of birders but it is important not to block her
road." So please respect private property! This pasture has also
been good for shorebirds in the past.
Cheers,
