The Wed group went to Perkin's Peninsula this morning (south end of Fern
Ridge) to look for the PALM WARBLER reported yesterday. Don Shrouder was
the first to spot the bird in a mixed flock moving through the crowns of
Ponderosa pine and Doug fir. We had the impression of two Palms, but
couldn't be certain due to the activity of the flock.
The Palm Warbler was with a flock that contained these species:
Black-capped Chickadee, Brown Creeper, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Downy
Woodpecker, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Red-breasted Nuthatch, and White-breasted
Nuthatch.
