[obol] Sharpshin question

It has been my observation that Sharpshins are very aggressive toward most things. They will not hesitate to engage in aerial contests with any falcon. Whether this behavior is anything more than excessive exuberation I cannot hope to speculate. They to me are the model for the "Henry Hawk" cartoon, since the cartoon behavior almost mirrors their actual actions. I just had a female (probably weighing about 110 grams) chase my pigeons, which she could not possibly subdue. They are so quick and agile that they can act with almost impunity. Their behavior in their nesting areas at least towards humans, is very quiet and non obtrusive. If you were not familiar with their calls, you would never know that they were there. Nests are very hard to find, even if you know where the nest has to be within a few yards.
