This report was mailed for David C. Bailey by http://birdnotes.net

Date: October 11, 2007
Location: Necanicum River Estuary, Clatsop County, Oregon

Birds observed (in taxonomic order):

Snow Goose (Chen caerulescens) 50 [1]
Killdeer (Charadrius vociferus) 1
Caspian Tern (Sterna caspia) 10 [2]
Swainson's Thrush (Catharus ustulatus) 100

Footnotes:

[1] Snow Goose: heard and seen flying over
[2] Caspian Tern: Both adult and juveniles heard calling overhead.
The birds seemed to be flying around in large circles--not just
passing south. It surely seems late for Caspian Terns to be
     around.

Total number of species seen: 4

Also, lots of tseeps of sparrows or ??? heard overhead
