[obol] bird banding

Does anyone know if there's a current bird banding project with Barn 
Owls? I'd love to learn to band owls and do the ones that are raised in 
our barn each year. I'm very curious as to where they go when they leave 
here. I've heard that barn owls may travel 1000 miles after fledging.
