[obol] American tree sparrow?

Hello:
I am guessing that the bird in the photo (see link below) is an  
AMERICAN TREE SPARROW, which is so boring, I know.

But it seems a bit unusual, in that it has a very bright, very small  
red crown. Is this unusual, or am I just exhibiting my extremely  
limited lack of sparrow smarts?

This is a Not Good Photo. It was dark (nearly 6:30 p.m.), and I was  
shooting through a window. But you can get the gist of it:
