Yesterday while sightseeing in Leslie Gulch with friends we were surprised by some Bighorn Sheep almost on the road. The weather was very summery and we expected to see lots of birds. There were some Horned Larks and a Brightwinged Townsend's Solitaire. That was all, although the scenery was gorgeous. At home we have had an Audubon's Yellow-rumped Warbler,Am. Robin, a kettle of Am. Crows, Osprey, Redtail hawk, Prairie Falcon. Our residents of course, Horned Larks, Chipping, White-crowned and Sage Sparrows, with a couple of Dark-eyed Juncos, Oregon variety, and a Fox Sparrow or two. Almost forgot a No. Flicker.
