It is 8x11 hardbound, about 550 pages.

I have read through my copy once.  It is a glorious achievement. A vast
compendium of the records of the California Bird Records Committee, it is
both a vagrant-chaser's bedtime companion and an excellent source of data on
identification issues.  It is also a heck of a collection of color photos,
black and white photos and field sketches of unusual birds.  Seasonal
graphs, geographic occurrence, etcetera so forth and hallelujah.
