Hi-
I was wondering if anyone had a recording of a Northern Saw-Whet Owl or could point me in the direction of one online? I've read they make a different call than the typically heard repetitive "toot toot toot", and am trying to find a recording of this different call. Thanks for any help!

Subject: [obol] Battle Ground Night Flight & Meteor Shower
Hi OBOLites
Here's an update on nocturnal migration over my yard in Battle Ground, Clark County, WA over the last several days:
August 29 5-5:45am:
Swainson's Thrush 75
Yellow Warbler 1
August 31 4am-5:50am (inspired by news of a meteor shower starting around 4am):
Swainson's Thrush 214
Yellow Warbler 5
warbler (sp) 2
sparrow (sp) 1
unidentified 2
Meteors: 11!!! It was a good celestial week with the lunar eclipse at the beginning and closing with a meteor shower).
