OBOL,
Bybee Lake had 5 Semi-palmated plovers, 8 Leasts, 1 injured Western, and 2 Lesser Yellowlegs. Also gobs of ducks---mostly mallards but with them--Green -wing teal, woodies, pintail, shovelers.
Smith had 4 Great Egrets, a pile of wood ducks, one Am. wigeon, and just one barn swallow.
Yesterday, on Mt.Tabor in SE Portland, Em Scatteregia and sons Christopher and Adrian and I saw a fair number of hummers up near the top on the east sloping lawn with a verge of blackberry etc. "Fair numbers" means probably 20 or so. Nowhere near what Gerard Lillie and Jeff Gilligan had a bit over a week ago but still quite enjoyable. Most were Rufous, and the rest Anna's. Also had one Willow Flycatcher up there and a smattering of other migrants.
good birding,
Tom
