  A Chukar was along the blackberrie bushes 1.9 miles north on Oak Island 
Rd. It flew south, across the road toward the farm buildings. Not a lot of 
rimrock on the Island! Not a lot of shorebirds off Coon Pt either; Kildeer, 
gulls, and GBHerons. At 9;00 there was at least mud; the "tide" was about 
half in/out.  David Smith
