[obol] Albino Sandpiper

Roger Robb called from rainy Bandon today, Tuesday, to report an all white sandpiper with pink legs and a pink bill.  He is assuming that it is an albino Western Sandpiper.  Photos were taken, but I do not have them.  Roger also saw eleven Red Knots and the White-winged Dove, after an hour and a half wait.

In Coos Bay on the north spit Roger saw five Buff-breasted Sandpipers and a Ruff.  He reported that there were many shorebirds and that he is having a great time in spite of the weather.  He camped last night, but found a motel for tonight.
