Dennis Arendt, Paul Sherrell, Don Scrouder, and I, visited Delta Ponds area
(near Valley River Mall) from 8am to 10:30. We looked, or rather listened
for the strange warbler Alan reported yesterday, but there was no movement
in the trees of that area. That area of parking revealed an urban forest
that had escaped our notice, made up of mostly pin oaks, but also maples and
other trees.
