[obol] Brookings Leach's Storm-Petrel - NO 9/5

Lois Miller & I went down to the lumber mill just north of Brookings to see 
if we could spot any Leach's Storm-Petrels. We were unsuccessfull.  We 
watched from about 9pm to 11:15pm.  It was a clear night.  From talking to a 
grad student studying these birds, she said the peak activity time at the 
nest burrows is between 1am & 3am.

There was a KILLDEER & RED-NECKED PHALAROPE that flew by as well as a few 
miigrating SWAINSON'S THRUSHES & a few other unidentified birds (sounded 
like SAVANNAH SPARROWS?).
