My ...... what a beautiful morning. Along with lovely blackberries .... this morning

  Cormorant
  Green Herons - 2
Egrets - 2, which Great Blues kept trying to oust out of "their" water
Kingfishers - 2, very noisy and constant
  Great Blue Herons - 4
  Am. Coot
Hawk - Coopers? kept flying low and through the trees and back and forth
                            throughout the area
American Wigeon - eclipse coat? one, alone, swimming more center of large flooded area
  Pied-billed Grebe

2 Flocks of 8 = 8 or so, Short=Billed Dowitchers?- could they have been short billed? White extended up back like Long's, could not decide if darker tail or not. Their call was repeated, many after the other while they were flying ....short little "tu tu tu" what the book said, but I'm not able to id for sure.. The ones I think of as Long-billed Dowitchers remained on the little muddy islands and didn't join the others in flight.
  .
(Last week - Osprey spent 20 minutes circling, with three unsuccessful water grabs)
