as a VCB, there's no way I'm going to memorize the FLAs.   Also, I think
some newbies would take a look at the list and not venture into it if was
nothing but FLAs in the subject.   I may see a location in the subject then
venture in to see what the person was talking about, but if it's BYOB,WDIK
I may not venture in.

Me?  I've been scouring the one book I have trying to figure out what bird
the NAMC is.  I see it's being widely reported all over the state, so I
don't think it's  a shore-bird.   Must be some form of migratory bird.
