[obol] Sperm Whales!

Hi:

I have spent many a day sailing up and down the west coast from BC to Mexico on a sailboat, I have never seen Sperm Whales this far north. With absolutely no evidence to back it up, it is just interesting that Humboldt Squid are moving north and look who shows up to feed on Perpetua Bank. A spot once teeming with halibut and other deep sea "rock fish" now has huge Sperm Whale doing feeding dives on the site. That is interesting.

Greg: Did the skipper have a sonar going to see what was down there? Could he see any squid that deep? Squid are dense critters and thus could show up on a fish finder rather easily.

The October 6 Perpetua Bank trip is nearly full, but we could use about a
dozen more participants for our final trip of the year on October 20th.
