[obol] Pelican Power vs. Wind Power

I spent some time at Yaquina Head this afternoon. The
north wind was whistling through so strong people were
losing their balance. I watched one man chase a $20
bill whipping about in the wind which was quite
comical until it was whisked out to sea. There were
plenty of pelicans flying about with powerful strokes
as always but the wind was winning and making them
look awkward. I've always had a penchant for pelicans
and so admire how they fly with grace and percision so
it was an odd sight today watching them appear
off-balance and clumsy while trying to fly in
formation. One group of 6 actually had their wings
flapping into each other.
