[obol] American Bitterns

Hi Dick:  Craig and I were at Summer Lake on Tuesday and we had four
juvenile and five adult Black Crowned Night Herons.  I only saw one American
Bittern, how cool!

Yesterday at Summer Lake we flushed (by car) five American Bitterns in a one
mile stretch in the south east corner.

Each flew about 100 yards, then posed patiently for extended scoping.  Do
these birds migrate in groups?
