[obol] Big Sit at Malheur

Come join us for a big sit at the Sod House Ranch at Malheur NWR October 13,
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  The Malheur NWR is celebrating Ranch Heritage Day, and the
big sit will give you an opportunity to see a part of the refuge you may
have been unaware of.  Fall migration is in full swing and birds are making
abundant use of the 120 year old cottonwoods and Lombardy Populars as well
as the  eighty year old Willows.  Bring your chair, whatever food you desire
and join in.  We are building a birding list for the Sod House Ranch and
your input will assist us with that project.  Sod House Ranch is only open
from August 15th to October 15th.  At other times, it is a major rookery for
herons, egrets and cormorants.
