[obol] yellow rail search

Dear Spencer,
There are a number of places in the Klamath Basin were you can
find this species. One of the most reliable spots is where Silver Lake Rd.
crosses the marsh in the Klamath Forest NWR near mile post 7. On a warm
night you can hear dozens of Yellow Rails calling at this location. Seeing
a Yellow Rail is exceedingly difficult but hearing them is easy.
Sincerely,
Tim Janzen

Subject: [obol] yellow rail search
I am planning a trip to Klamath Basin this May or June to try for the yellow
rail. Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, or locations to help with my
efforts?
Thanks, Spencer Platt
