This morning (04-02-08) the ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS arrived. Several seen (singing) at the Manzanita (Merlin) I-5 rest stop (north bound) - none here on 03-31-08. When I arrived back home, one was at our place too. YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS (Audubon's) as well - in breeding plumage.
RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS continue their movement with about 10 at the rest stop area. Also, a dozen or so VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS at the rest stop area rock pit - none on 03-31-08.
NO Gnatcatchers or Calliope Hummer seen.
Dennis (north of Grants Pass)
