One time a Grosbeak got into our blueberry cage and got trapped in the plastic netting. I would not worry too much about one getting caught, unless you want to write off growing blueberries.

Subject: [obol] trapped grosbeak/pix?
A female grosbeak was firmly wedged in a tiny one-inch hexagonal circle of chickenwire fence at our place this morning. She had managed to squeeze into this circle nearly up to her wings. My husband and I cut her loose. She flew off although it looked like she may be nursing some wounds from struggling to get out. She was tuckered by the time I noticed her. I distracted her with that strong beak she was very willing to use while Al freed her with wire cutters. The chickenwire guards blueberry shrubs, but I'll remove it and use netting instead.
Also: What bird website can I send photos to for obolers to view? On occasion I take a photo I'd like to share. This morning I took a pix of around 15 band-tailed pigeons feasting with a male pheasant at one of my feeders. I've viewed sites that individuals maintain with their own photos, but never a site with photos taken by various birders. Lona Pierce, Warren
