There were a handful of both Orange-crowned and Townsend's Warblers around
Mt. Tabor late this afternoon. Rufous Hummingbirds were much in evidence and
many Varied Thrush remained. A singing Lesser Goldfinch is acting as though
he's on territory near the southeast edge of the summit. The only empid was a
lone Pacific-slope Flycatcher foraging around the so-called "volcano." Many a
Band-tailed Pigeon formed the zenith of Doug Firs.
Best wishes & Good birding
