My wife and I took our 3 week old son on his first hike today at Mt.
Pisgah outside of Eugene. We saw well over a dozen ORANGE-CROWNED
WARBLERS, including a loose flock of 6-8 foraging together. We saw our
first OC's last weekend around our neighborhood.
In our yard today, we had 4 WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS at the feeder most
of the day. All winter, I would see maybe 1 occasionally.
This morning I heard a singing WHITE-THROATED SPARROW--one has been
regular at the feeder all winter and spring.
