Drove down to the SE corner of the county in the
Powers area this morning, light rain followed me and
it didn't get heavy until on the way back.  Not much
in migrant-wise down yonder yet- here are the
highlights:

2- GOLDEN EAGLES (near milepost 5 on the Powers Hwy)
10+ W. TURKEYS (seen and heard gobbling up in the
hills)
1- MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE (singing near the Powers Ranger
Station)
1- BROWN-HEADED COWBIRD (first migrant I've seen or
heard)
1- COMMON YELLOWTHROAT
2- WESTERN BLUEBIRDS
