With our very warm and enjoyable spring weather we have been working outside and get to enjoy the returns and visits of different birds. Yesterday while I was on break I scanned all the power poles and the creek line. No one new but sitting just above my head in the yard was a House Sparrow. In two years here we have not seen any. This morning while just enjoying the morning sun and warmth we were buzzed by our returning Barn Swallows. Just in time to start eradicating the yard bugs. Now we have Western Kingbirds and Chipping Sparrows to return.

Our resident Redtail and Say's Phoebe males have been doing their "manly" duty. Flight displays and bringing in nest material.

Enjoy Spring,
