[obol] Anna's Hummingbird Behavior

Hi.  This is not too interesting at all given the possibility of seeing a Frigatebird in the Columbia River Gorge, but yesterday my husband saw one our many female Anna's Hummingbirds attack and drive off the neighbor's huge cat (one of the many adopted stray and feral cats in the neighborhood).

I am wondering if she is defending a nest.  Think I'll take some of plastic barrier fencing and create something the cats and raccoons won't walk on along the top of the fence to keep them away from that area.
