[obol] Backyard birdies

     I finally was able to get outside to ID some of the birds that have been coming through the back yard today.  Several small-bird flocks have been gracing our maples and blackberries, but I was eating dinner, and did not ID them.  Among the flocks, I have had a NASHVILLE WARBLER, several LESSER GOLDFINCHES, O. C. WARBLER,  AUDUBONS YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER, TOWNSENDS WARBLER, an oddity which surprised me was a single COMMON YELLOWTHROAT.  I had one flycatcher species which I did not hear but saw briefly and could not ID... I would lean towards HAMMOND's.  We still have a visit from the RUFOUS HUMMERS daily, but not as frequently.  And our local RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER.
     It has been a fun year, with many new-to-the-backyard birds.
