Yes, Thanks Jim!

Paul's list of OBOL rules reminded me of an older book I have but not read for years, dragged it out. "Minutes of the Lower Forty" by Cory Ford

The "Lower Forty" had a club, the Lower Forty Shooting, Angling and Inside Straight Club.

Here's their Constitution:

Artickle One: Rules - There ain't no rules.

Artickle Two: President - Everbody's President.

Artickle Three: Membership - If ennybody else wants to join this club, go ahead, but don't borther us about it. We've went fishing.

The spelling is from the book. Perhaps overly simplified "rules." But, think about this. The book cost $3.50 when I got it (published 1st 1956). Did a book search and found a copy would cost you between $60 to $100+ now. Now there's an investment.

...the short stories in this book fit my youth days to a T.
