I step outside just now (2247) on this mildly warm (55 ° F) evening and
I was hearing many WESTERN and LEAST SANDPIPERS and SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS
flying overhead. This is the first this Spring that I have heard them
migrating. I checked my favorite weather pages on the web and it shows
south winds aloft as the next low pressure system spins in from the
west. I imagine there could be good migrant fallouts tomorrow across the
state. Right on-time movements of course.

PS. Of perhaps only personal interest, my Clatsop County life list has
just tied my Multnomah County life list total (latest addition E.
C-Dove). This is my fifth year living in the Clatsop, while it took 20
plus years to build my Multnomah list.
