Hi,

Janet Lamberson emailed that the pair of LAPLAND LONGSPURS
were still there today (4/29) at 12:30 PM along the Yaquina Bay South
Jetty. Janet writes "The male has a yellow bill with a
dark tip. They were foraging in the company of a Savannah Sparrow in
the grass at the edge of the northwest "corner" of the gull puddle,
where the fishermen park to go down to the jetty that is west of the
gull puddle."

The "Gull Puddle" is at the west end of the largest parking area
along the South Jetty.

    Cheers,

Range Bayer, Newport
