[obol] Bandtail Pigeons in Tiller/Drew area

I first saw them the 29th, and though they are usually here in the spring/summer (I never noted the dates before) I'm thinking they are very early this year! Would they perhaps have come north in an attempt to escape the bad weather in Southern California?
