[obol] local RBA: Prairie Falcon Washington County

     An adult Prairie Falcon was at Vadis
at 2:40 pm today(Feb 2). I first saw it
take flight from the North Plains Airport,
it then flew about a mile west and landed
on top of a lone Douglas-fir with a snaggle
top (I believe it's a witness tree) at the
jct of Vadis and Dersham Rds. Dersham Rd is
the last exit/overpass on Hwy 26 westbound.
This tree stands slightly apart from the
sizeable woodlot to its immediate west.
This may be a favored perch. The falcon sat
at its top for a long time, ignoring me.
It was still sitting there when I drove off.
One can exit Hwy 26 and scope this tree from
the shoulder of the ramps. There is a lumber
