Following the posts from previous days I checked out Scappose Bottoms today along Dike Rd. and Honeyman Rd. with friends Nate Osborne and Joe Liebezeit.
Highlights:
American Tree Sparrow (at the gravel pullout just WEST of the yellow house on Honeyman Rd., assoicated with a flock of Golden-crowned sparrows)
Eurasian Wigeon (same place as above looking out towards flooded fields)
American Pipit (next to road in slough assoicated with a large yellow hanger/barn type of building, this is also on Honeyman Rd., but south of 90 degree turn and yellow house described in previous posts, you'll know you're at the right spot when you see and smell the horse shit flowing through the slough)
