LeavesYes, those pesky STARLINGS are already looking for nest boxes, nice
big roomy ones.
So they carefully inspect my nice big NEST BOX TRAP !

They go in but they don't get out! heh heh heh!
I trapped two today !

Not too many HOSP's around here anymore, most have been trapped out but I
still get some each year so I keep my hatchet sharp.

Too bad the shipping charges are so high or I could ship a bunch of Passer
domesticus back to the old world, I could even throw in some STARLINGS as a
'bonus!

Down here in forgotten Harbor OR. the ROBINS are stripping the cotonesters
of berries, the many WHITE-CROWN, GOLD CROWN SPARROWS are 'starving' from
the way they strip the feeders, also seen are MORNING DOVES, WHITE-THROAT,
LINCOLIN'S, SONG & FOX SPARROWS, "OREGON" and one "SLATE" JUNCO, HOUSE
FINCHES, SPOTTED TOWHEE, EURASIAN COLLARED DOVES, ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS, BLACK
PHEOBE, CHESTNUT-BACKED, BLACK CAPPED CHICKADEES, and trying to make a snack
off of them, a COOPER'S HAWK.

Since I've added more brush to my next to feeder brush pile, he's had to
hunt elsewhere.

When the BAND-TAILED PIGEONS arrive, I'll put some oyster shell out for
them.

Today, it hasn't rained- - - - - -yet.

Sheila from soggning wet Harbor OR.
