For immediate notice. 

 I just learned that that US Fish and Wildlife from the Willamette Valley Refuge Complex will present two public meetings on Thursday, Feb. 7th to review their Comprehensive Plan for the three refuges in the Willamette Valley.  They will present at the 1st United Methodist Church at the corner of Church and State Streets in Salem, Or.

Officials with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will talk about the Comprehensive Conservation Plan for three Willamette Valley federal wildlife refuges, Ankeny, Baskett Slough and William L. Finley. They also will take your comments, criticisms and suggestions for future management approaches.

Please attend  either or both of these meetings.  Feedback to the management staff of these refuges is vitally important.
