[obol] FW: saw-whet owl with guinea hens

Though this bird was not sighted in Oregon, I thought folks might find this
account and picture from my brother-in-law interesting. He lives in Wilson
Creek, Washington in the central part of that state. The bird is perched on
a 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch step for a size reference. It may have gone in the
coop after mice that probably come in for the guinea fowl food.

This morning I was surprised to find a little owl roosting with the guineas.
It wasn't freaking out when I opened the door. At one point it flew up and
landed on the back of one of the guineas, which didn't seem to mind. Yellow
eyes were closed when the picture was taken.
