[obol] Wanted: Owl Surveyors

We (Siskiyou Biological Services - SBS) are recruiting Northern 
Spotted Owl and Great Gray Owl surveyors to work on the second year 
of a large NSO & GGO survey project based in southwest Oregon.

Surveyors will need to be "self-contractors" with their own 
vehicles.  The 2008 survey season extends from mid March thru August 
with April thru June the busy months.  SBS can be somewhat flexible 
regarding part-time vs. full time work and work periods (as we will 
need more surveyors in the field during the busy months).

Applicants should be experienced field surveyors and should have 
(ideally professional) experience with one of the two target 
species.  Surveyors will need to be experienced in and capable of 
traversing and navigating  rough terrain.

Compensation (in my opinion) is lucrative for qualified surveyors.
